Awanas Clubs

The 1st priority is passing sections, but if the sole focus is on getting clubbers through the handbook to share about how many awards have been earned, that is the wrong motive. At that point we are placing a greater emphasis on what we do and the importance of completing a book. Now don;t get me wrong, we should try to have clubbers complete a handbook each year, but that is not always possible. There will be clubbers who are unable to complete a handbook each year, or keep pace. If our sole purpose is to complete books, then we leave the clubbers who cannot in the dust, discouraged, and possibly walking away and never returning.

Finally, building relationships. We are people, we should care. If building relationships was not a part of it, then Awana could sell voice recognition software and clubbers could say it, or just type it into a computer to verify the accuracy. Again, building relationships should happen all night, not just handbook time. Awanas

To aid leaders in sharing the gospel with clubbers, Awana has developed the Gospel Wheel. The Gospel Wheel helps illustrate salvation by showing the relation of God towards man and his sin as well as the atonement made for sin by Christ.

Christian Schools build Christian Families

Currently too many pastors along with Christian ministry and denominational leaders are not providing leadership for their flocks or denominations, by first warning their families and members of the danger to children from the K-12 public education system much less by offering K-12 Christian School education or home schooling services in or through their churches Encourage young Christians to go to Christian schools Christian School Resources, Christian Schools

The Prohibition Party in America

The Prohibition Party is a political party in the United States best known for its historic opposition to the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages. It was an integral part of the temperance movement and, while never one of the leading parties in the United States, it was an important force in American politics in the late 19th century and the early years of the 20th century. It has declined dramatically since the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, and is now a fraction of its previous size, having earned only 643 votes for president in the 2008 election. It advocates a variety of socially conservative causes, including "stronger and more vigorous enforcement of laws against the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, against gambling, illegal drugs, pornography, and commercialized vice." It is the oldest third party in the US. Read more about prohibition in America, the the era of prohibition of alcohol. Prohibition in America and Prohibition of Alcohol

Job Chapter 1:1-4
1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
4 And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
