27·—·—26 DEUTERONOMY. Cursed be whoever docs not stand by the commands of this Law to prac- (Then all the People shall say;) 28 But if you attentively listen to the IO II I2 voice of your EVER-LIVING GOD, and take care to practise all the com- mandments that I command you to- day, then the EVER-Lxvmc, your GOD, will give you superiority over every nation on earth, and all these blessings shall come to you, and sur- round you, because you listen to the voice of your Evan-Lrvme GOD: mj: Qlzzsings uf Qihzbiznzz. You shall be blest in the city, And blest in the field; Blest in the fruit of your body, And blest in the fruit of your farm ; And blest in the fruit of your cow, And blest in the cast of your cattle, And breeds of your sheep. Blest in your basket, And blest in your cask. Biest in your going, And blest in your coming. ]EHOvAH will make your opponents To stumble before you, They shall advance by one path, And Hy from you by seven! The Evan-Lrvmc; will command

blessing to your barns, and to every work of your hand, and will bless you in the country thatyour EvER—L1v1NG GOD has given you. JEHGVAH will establish you as a People sacred to Himself, as He promised, if you keep the commands of your EvnR·L1v1N<; GOD and walk in His paths. Then every People of the earth will see that the NAME of the Evan-L1v1N<; has been fixed upon you, and they will fear you, when the Ev12:R~L1v1No causes you to abound in benefits; in the fruit of your body; and the fruit of your cattle; and the fruit of your fields; in the land whichthe EVER- L1v1NG promised to your fathers to give you. The EVER-LIVING will open His best treasures from the skies for you to give rain to adorn your land, and to bless everv work of your hand. Many nations shall borrow of you, but you shall not borrow !·—for the

LORD will make you the Head, and not the Tail ! and you shall continu— 28--29
