Master and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought also to wash the feet of one another ; for I have given you an example, so that you should also do as I have done to you. Most assuredly I tell you, a slave is not greater than his master; nor a mes- senger greater than his sender. If you know this, you are happy if you practise it.
