The numbers in the regi- ments, in the camps. of their forces, were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred, and iifty.1 But the Levites were not enrolled among the sons of Israel, as the Evnu—L1v1No commanded to Moses. The children of Israel did as

sons of Aaron. The eldest Nadab, and Abihu, Aliazar and Aithamar. These were the names of the sons of Aaron the consecrated priest, who filled the oiiice of priests. But Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the Evnxz-1.1vmo in the Wilderness of Sinai; and they had no sons, so Aliazar and Aithamar became priests in the presence of Aaron their father. 26 28 33 34
