, Avi}-Merodakh, king of Babel, in the
year of his coronation, raised the
head of jhoiakim, king of judah, from
28 prison, and spoke kindly to him, and gave him a seat above the seats of the other kings who were at Babel . He also removed his prison dress 2g f rom him, and he ate his food con - tinually in his presence all the time that he lived.
