So the Singers, Himan, Asaph, and
Aithinwithfirongsof brass to sound;
and Zekeriah, and Azia1,aud Sherni—
ramoth. and jakhiai, and Ani, and
Aliah, and Masiah, and Baniah, with
lutes, accompanied the maidens; and
Matithiah, and Aiifaihno, and Mika-
niah, and Abd—adom, and jayal, and
Azizihuo, with harps, high pitched to
perfection; and Kenanihuo the Chief
of the Levites superintended the
carrying from stage to stage, because
he understood it} And Berekiah,
and Aikanah were Guards for the Ark;
and Shebaniah, and joshafat, and
Nethanal,and Amasi,andZekerihua,
and Benihuo, and Aiiazar the Trum-
peters, ——- Priests with trumpets
sounded before the Ark of Gon, and
Abd~adom and jakhiah were Guards
of the Ark. But David and the
Senators of Israel with the Generals,
marched with the progress of the Ark
of the Covenant of GOD from the
house of Abd—adom rejoicing. And
when the Levites lifted up the Ark
of the Covenant of GOD to bear it,

constructed for it, and presented

GOD, When David had ceased from
offering the Burnt and Thank-offer-
ings, he blessed the ?eopie in the
name ofthe EVER-LIVING. Then he
distributed to every Israelite person,
both men and women,a loaf of bread,
and apium cake_
He afterwards appointed some of
the Levites to serve before the Ark
of the EVER-LIVING, and to care for
it and to give praise and to honour
the EVER-LIVING GOD of Israel.
Asaph was their Chief and his
Secondaries were Zekeriah, jazai,
and Shemiramoth, and Ikhial, and
Matathiah, Aiiab, and Beniah, and
Abd-adom, and jayai, with instru-
ments, Lutes, and I-Iarps ; and Asaph
with resounding cymbals. Then
Beniah and jakhziai the Priests
stood with trumpets before the Ark
of the Covenant of Goo. On that
day also David first ordained to give
thanks to the LORD by the means of
Asaph and his associates.
