O GOD, be not silent or still, For now hear Your Enemies growl, And Your haters lift up their head; At Your People contriving their plans, And consulting against Your beloved. Come, let us blot from the Nations, ; For their hearts have consulted together, And a treaty have made against You. Tents of Edom, of Ishmael, and Moab, and Hagar, Amon, Amalek, Phlesheth, with the people of '1`zur, And Ashur has joined in with them, And are helped by the children of Lot. Srmza 2. Make them like to Midian and Sisera, Like jabin in Kishon's swift stream, Who at Au·d0r were crushed, Were made dung for the ground! Make their Captains like Oreb and Zeeb, Their Chiefs like Zebakh and Zalmuna, iWe will seize for ourselves, The beautiful dwelling of GOD. Make them, my GOD, like a wheel, Like chaff to the face of the wind, Like fire that burns in a wood, Like flames that are kindled on hills. Then You with Your tempests can chase, And them by Your whirlwinds destroy I Suuza 3. Make their appearance a scorn, Let them, LORD, discover their power. For ever depress and disturb, And turn to contempt and destroy.
